For this years WBD we started by doing a Drop Everything and Read bell throughout the school, which included the children dropping what they were doing and start to read when they heard the bell.
We then had our Harry Potter quiz which included several rounds of questions from the books with the winning team Griffindor winning a prize.
On Friday we had a shared reading where all children came to the hall in their cosies and read with a partner and then by themselves. The hall was made cosy with tents, blankets, pillows and lights.
Lastly is our book fair, planned by our school council where our wonderful families donated books to our school for us to sell in our book fair helping us raise money for our literacy resources. All donations and purchuses are greatly appreciated and we hope you have so much fun reading your new books.
Book fair is ending today (Wednesday) but books are available to purchuse until Friday, just pop in!
