Yesterday we got a lovely suprise from Abigail's Daddy!
As you all know, we are working hard in our school to achieve the Green Flag Award.
Mrs England's class have been studying all things Eco. Our Major Topic for the Green Flag is Waste. Our two Minor Topics are "Outdoors" and "Biodiversity".
It was therefore a great surprise when Jason, Abigail's Daddy sent us in Tadpoles which supported our learning. We LOVE it when Our Parents get involved and we are so GRATEFUL for this. Thank you Mr McCartney.
Our School Values Our World and how we should care for it (Laudato Si). It was really kind that MrMcCartney and Abigail thought about the welfare of the Tadpoles and Frogspawn. They sent in the essentials to ensure that we had everything we needed to watch the Lifecycle of the Frog. Essentials included fresh water from the River, a Tank, Net and some things to create a healthy habitat. The children in class had the opportunity to investigate how to look after the Tadpoles.
Mrs England's Pupils invited Mrs Callan's Pupils to their Classroom to take part in some fun work about Lifecycles.
We even had a lovely song to share -Paul McCartney -We all stand together.
