Parents I am sure you have heard there is industrial action planned for the coming weeks for several unions which represent school support staff. The school in collaboration with the BOG have risk assessed the impact this will have in our school and the decision has been made that it is safe for school to remain open at this time. This may change if other unions become involved in the strike action and the risk assessment may therefore change. Currently the main impact on our school is the provision of school meals. On Monday 20th May, Tuesday 21st May and Wednesday 22nd May 2024 (next week) there will be no facility within the school to serve dinners therefore ALL children should bring a packed lunch to school on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Children who are entitled to FSM will have a packed lunch provided for them on these days. Please remember when packing your child's lunch that nuts and products containing nuts as well as kiwis and products containing kiwi are not allowed due to allergies so they should not be included in your child's lunch.
