The 2 candidates have created their own short synopsis of why they would like to be a parent governor within the school and to help you make you decision when voting on Friday in the Parent Governor Elections. We are extremely grateful for the candidates being nominated for election and hope you the parents are able to come into the school to vote on Friday. The Election forms will be available in the office from Mrs. Deery on Friday morning between 8.30am and 9.10am when you drop the children off to school in the morning and again from Mrs. Callan at 3.00pm if you are collecting the children from school. Each parent has one vote and we would appreciate a good turn out to the election, to ensure it is reflective of the parents within the school. It is run just the same as an actual election and therefore you can not vote on someone else's behalf only those who collect their voting form and vote anonymously will be eligible. If however there is an issue with you being available on Friday at either of these times and you are keen to ensure you get to cast your vote please email Mrs. Callan
ccallan016@c2kni.net and we can discuss if there is any other availability to ensure you get to vote. Mrs. Callan is clerk of the elections and will notify the parents in due course who has been elected as the Parent Governor on the BOG for the coming term (4yrs).
