MRS CALLAN'S CLASS BOOK DAY ADVENTURE
Our Foundation Stage children got to go on a trip to Waterstones in Foyleside today to celebrate World Book Day. We got to go on the bus into town and then had our snack at Marks and Spencer Cafe. The staff at M&S kindly provided a piece of fruit for each child to enjoy in their Foyleside Cafe. The children then visited Waterstones where they shared the story of Rosie Rabbit and got to exchange their Book Tokens for some fantastic World Book Day Books. They then got to meet Elsa in the Creative Garden and chill out with some colouring in. The children then enjoyed a ride in the glass elevator (just like the one in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) followed by a very special lunch in Mc Donald's Foyleside where they were treated to Happy Meals and recieved another special book to enjoy at home. Finally off to the depot to get the bus back to Newbuildings. A huge thankyou to Translink, Marks and Spencer, Waterstones and MC Donalds who all helped make our Book Day Adventure an extra special day to remember!
